Terms of Service

1. Service Description
Subtitle Shot is a browser extension that reads available subtitles on YouTube video pages and generates subtitle image cards.
Subtitle, translation, and video frame availability depend on the current YouTube video, browser environment, and YouTube page state. We do not guarantee that every video will have available subtitles or translations.
2. Free and Pro Versions
The free version may include basic single-language subtitle screenshots, 3 basic styles, PNG export, and clipboard copy.
Pro may include all 5 image styles, unlimited bilingual subtitle screenshots, custom watermarks, language preference memory, export tools, and other advanced workflows.
Prices are as shown on the checkout page and may vary based on promotions, taxes, and region.
3. Licensing
The first 100 users can enjoy an early bird one-time purchase price. Once paid, it's yours forever — no subscription, no auto-renewal.
After early bird spots are filled, Pro will switch to a subscription model. Existing one-time purchase users are unaffected and retain perpetual access to current Pro features.
Future standalone feature modules may be priced separately, but existing Pro features will not be revoked.
4. Refund Policy
Within 14 days of purchase, if the product does not work as described and we are unable to help resolve the issue, you may request a full refund.
Refund requests should include your purchase email, purchase date, browser version, a sample video link, and a description of the issue, sent to support@ideaguard.dev.
Accounts in violation of the terms, YouTube subtitle unavailability, videos without subtitles, or short-term compatibility issues caused by third-party platform changes are generally not eligible for refunds, except where required by law.
5. Acceptable Use
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of generated subtitle images complies with YouTube's terms, copyright law, and the original content rights holder's authorization.
You may not use Subtitle Shot to bypass access restrictions, bulk-scrape content, resell subtitle datasets, or interfere with YouTube or other third-party services.
6. Third-Party Services
Subtitle Shot relies on YouTube pages and subtitle data, and may also use payment, licensing, or support services.
Subtitle Shot is not affiliated with, nor does it represent, YouTube or Google.
7. Disclaimer
The service is provided as-is and as-available. Changes to YouTube page structure, browser permissions, subtitle tracks, or third-party services may affect functionality.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for service-related claims is limited to the amount you actually paid for the service.
